After cleaning, the dock will wash and dry the robot’s mopping pad. The pad wash roller and basin are rinsed automatically after each pad wash, but over time, larger debris and hair/fur may build up in the filter. We recommend you clean the pad washing basin and the liquid overflow basin once a month, when visibly dirty, or as indicated by the iRobot® HOME App.
How to Clean the Pad Washing Roller and Basin:
1. Remove the Pad Washing Roller
2. Remove the Pad Washing Filter
3. Wipe out the Pad Washing Basin with a clean dry cloth. Ensure there are no obstructions in the drainage port. Mild soap and a sponge may be used for stubborn debris
4. Repeat step 3 for the Liquid Overflow Basin
5. Wash the filter and roller under warm water. Mild soap and a sponge may be used for stubborn debris. Pat dry before reinstalling
6. Reinstall the filter
7. Reinstall the roller by aligning the Pad Washing Roller peg into place
